Parents: Youth Ministry wouldn’t exist if it wasn’t for you.

Okay, obviously there wouldn’t be any kids to minister to, but the point is that parents today continue to have a huge impact on the lives of their Middle and High School-age children. The only way The Colonies Youth can function throughout the year is with the support of its parents. Sure, we are always in need of teachers, small group leaders, and sponsors, but more important is how much our teenagers need parents who are committed to the spiritual development of their kids both at church and at home. Model spiritual maturity and discipline for your kids when their with you at home, and they’ll benefit even more from spiritual guidance with the youth group. Never forget that you are the most important and influential minister in your child’s life.
